Código de conduta
Just Python é um ambiente amistoso, de boa convivência, inclusivo e livre de intimidação, onde todas as pessoas são bem-vindas e a civilidade é exigida.
Com esta finalidade, a organização do evento conta com uma Equipe de Resposta que atua para garantir um ambiente com essas qualidades.
Por isso:
- Não é tolerado nenhum tipo de assédio, discriminação inapropriada ou humilhação pública;
- Não é tolerado o descumprimento das leis brasileiras;
- Toda pessoa presente no evento, independente do seu papel, está sujeita a estas regras;
Desta forma, entendemos que:
- Assédio é a ação de insistir, perseguir ou coagir outra pessoa a um comportamento involuntário.
- Discriminação inapropriada é o ato de separar, injuriar ou humilhar alguém promovendo sua exclusão por atributo particular da mesma.
- Humilhação pública é o ato de submeter, rebaixar, ridicularizar ou promover o vexame de outro publicamente.
O público alvo do evento também inclui crianças e adolescentes, por isso buscamos manter um ambiente apropriado para todas as faixas etárias. Sendo assim, linguagem e imagens sexualizadas não são adequados para palestras e ações promocionais de patrocinadores.
Se você se sentiu assediado, discriminado indevidamente ou humilhado, ou presenciou alguma destas atitudes, por favor entre em contato com a Equipe de Resposta.
Havendo um relato de violação destes princípios, a Equipe de Resposta realizará a devida análise e, quando necessário, tomará as ações para impedir a reincidência. Estas ações podem, mas não se restringem nem implicam em ir desde uma conversa em busca da retratação até um convite a se retirar do evento por tempo indeterminado.
Este Código de Conduta baseia-se no Código de Conduta do Evento Python Brasil podendo ser alterado e melhorado independentemente do original.
Code of Conduct
Just Python is a friendly, inclusive and harassment-free environment where everyone is welcome and where civility is compulsory.
Conference organizers offer a Response Team acting in order to guarantee such an environment.
Therefore:
- We will not tolerate harassment, inappropriate discrimination or public humiliation of any kind;
- We will not tolerate non-compliance with Brazilian laws;
- Regardless of their role every person taking part in the conference is subject to these rules;
Thus we understand:
- Harassment is the act of insisting, persecuting or coercing someone into involuntary behavior.
- Inappropriate discrimination is the act of pulling apart, insulting or humiliating someone by promoting their exclusion by any particular attribute.
- Public humiliation is the act of subjugating, pulling down, ridiculing or publicly promoting the vexation of others.
The target audience of the conference also includes children and adolescents thus we stand for a suitable environment for all age groups. In that sense language and sexualized images are not suitable for lectures and promotional actions by sponsors. If you feel harassed, discriminated or humiliated, or if you witnessed any of these behaviors, please contact the Response Team.
In face of any allegation of violation of these principles, the Response Team will examine and consider the case in order to take action to ensure that such events will not happen again. These actions might take the form of a conversation to reconcile the parts, an invitation to leave the event indefinitely or any other form to keep up with the values stated in this Code of Conduct.
This Code of Conduct is based on Python Brasil Code of Conduct and may be altered or improved regardless of it’s original.
